Full time EMS provider
Summary:
We have openings for part-time BLS & ALS providers that will work well in a team environment and has a desire to help a small service succeed in their mission. We aim to assure that the residents and visitors of our great communities receive the best care possible at their point of entrance to the pre-hospital medical system. The position is for variable hours per week with the option to pick up shifts, station coverage and interfacility transfers.
Other responsibilities includes:
● Perform vehicle checks at the beginning of each shift
● Ensure all necessary documentation is completed following each response.
● Perform necessary cleaning of the ambulances and station
● Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
Required Skills and Experience
● High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
● Must be able to communicate and understand English verbally and in writing
● Must demonstrate the physical and clinical ability to perform all tasks and duties required of a EMS professional
Licenses and Certifications (must be valid, current and/or in good standing)
● Valid Driver’s License
● CPR (AHA BLS for Healthcare Provides)
● Current and valid Vermont EMS license
● For paramedics: current and valid ACLS and PALS certification
Starting Salary (based on experience):
● EMT: $16.80 AEMT: $18.02 Paramedic: $24.45
