We aim to assure that the residents and visitors of our great communities receive the best care possible at their point of entrance to the pre-hospital medical system. The position is for variable hours per week with the option to pick up shifts, station coverage and interfacility transfers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other responsibilities includes:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Perform vehicle checks at the beginning of each shift<br \/>\n\u25cf Ensure all necessary documentation is completed following each response.<br \/>\n\u25cf Perform necessary cleaning of the ambulances and station<br \/>\n\u25cf Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations<br \/>\nRequired Skills and Experience<br \/>\n\u25cf High school diploma or general education degree (GED)<br \/>\n\u25cf Must be able to communicate and understand English verbally and in writing<br \/>\n\u25cf Must demonstrate the physical and clinical ability to perform all tasks and duties required of a EMS professional<\/p>\n<p><strong>Licenses and Certifications (must be valid, current and\/or in good standing)<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Valid Driver\u2019s License<br \/>\n\u25cf CPR (AHA BLS for Healthcare Provides)<br \/>\n\u25cf Current and valid Vermont EMS license<br \/>\n\u25cf For paramedics: current and valid ACLS and PALS certification<br \/>\nStarting Salary (based on experience):<br \/>\n\u25cf EMT: $17.22 AEMT: $18.47 Paramedic: $25.06<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Uniform allowance<br \/>\n\u25cf Employee Assistance Plan<br \/>\n\u25cf Retirement Program- SIMPLE IRA with 3% employer match<br \/>\n\u25cf Interfacility transfer stipend<br \/>\n\u25cf Ambulance Subscription Membership<br \/>\n\u25cf Training reimbursement for approved courses<br \/>\n\u25cf Holiday pay- time and a half<\/p>\n<p><strong>Full-Time Benefits:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Same as above and:<br \/>\n\u25cf Health Insurance &#8211; Premium 80% Employer Paid<br \/>\n\u25cf Vision Insurance &#8211; Employer Paid<br \/>\n\u25cf Dental Insurance &#8211; Employer Paid<br \/>\n\u25cf Health Reimbursement Account<br \/>\n\u25cf Tiered Paid Time Off Program<br \/>\n\u25cf Extra Duties Stipends<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease send resume and cover letter to director@lyndonrescue.net<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We currently do not have openings, but below is the job description if openings become available.
